test teletype?

what dose teletype do then? do I need to use a typewriter to make it work?
where can I acquire the correct drivers for my 1924 Remington Cyrillic.
Im running vista x64 ... will I need some sort of usb connection?


Please note, i dont think this thing has any sort of firmware.. will this be a problem? If so, what make of typewriter will i need to acquire to get the "teletype" bbcode to work?
